Introduction
SBIS is an acronym for Small Business
Invoicing System. It is designed to be suitable for small
and home based businesses. It is a way for businesses to create paper based Invoices,
Quotes, Orders and Statements in a quick, simple
and efficient way.
Update
As of 1st July 2008, support for SBIS has been discontinued. It is no longer viable for me to maintain the
product as software development technologies have moved on, and I simply do not have the time to support
SBIS anymore.
Many people are still using SBIS, and it still operates in the latest versions of Microsoft Windows (it
probably needs to be 'Run as Administrator' in Vista). The latest version of SBIS (version 1.55, released
in 2001 sometime), is still available here http://www.dnisoft.com/SBIS/downloads/SBINS155.exe.
SBIS has always required a product id, based on the user's business name, in order
for it to be unlocked / registered. This has not changed, however you can now use the
form below to create a product id for FREE!
(The product id is generated in lower and upper case to make it easier to read,
as some characters are otherwise difficult to differenciate).
Enter your product id into the Business Details tab of the Main settings of SBIS.
Make sure to enter both the Buiness Name and the Product Id exactly as they are
entered here. Most problems with product id's not being correct are because of extra
spaces at the beginning or end of either the Business name or Product Id.
I can still be contacted at support@dnisoft.com, however since I am no longer supporting SBIS, please understand if I do not have
the time to reply.
